Sound, constructed.
Resonance, engineered.
A Los Angeles–based studio for original score, brand sonic identity, and immersive audio environments. Founded and led by sonic architect Roger Lima.
We treat sound as architecture, not decoration.
Most audio is scored onto a picture — laid on top after the fact, designed to accompany. We work the other way: sound as the load-bearing structure. The first decision, not the last.
That inversion changes everything. It means we work at the level of brand strategy, narrative architecture, and audience neurology — not at the level of "which library cue fits this cut."
The result is audio that doesn't sit under a brand. It is the brand — as recognisable as a logo, as specific as a fingerprint, as load-bearing as the foundation under a building.
Originality
No library cues. Every frame, every brand cue, every sonic gesture — built from first principles.
Specificity
Sonic identities that couldn't belong to anyone else. Mnemonics engineered to fire on recall.
Immersion
Spatial audio, theatrical sound design, and environments built for headsets, rooms, and rooms full of people.
Convergence
Generative tooling and AI used as a collaborative instrument — never as a substitute for authorship.
Roger Lima — Sonic Architect.
Roger Lima builds sounds that don't exist anywhere else. Emmy-contending episodic scores. Sonic identities for global brands. Spatial environments for theatrical releases and immersive installations.
The work has been deployed across Netflix, HBO, Sotheby's, Hyundai, Under Armour, CNN, TEDx, and a working roster of A24-tier independent film. The through-line isn't genre — it's authorial intent: every project is treated as an original problem, not a template with a brief attached.
Based in Los Angeles. Available worldwide.
